The Southern African Association of Hong Kong would like to invite members, friends and friends of Southern Africa to their annual Christmas get-together. This year we are hosting a Christmas Spit Braai in the beautiful gardens of WWF Island House. The event will take place on Saturday, 8 December from 11:30 – 18:00. Bring your picnic blanket / camping chairs and come enjoy a fun afternoon with friends and family! There are loads of activities for the whole family including s scavenger hunt, face painting and presents form Santa for your loved ones*. There will also be live music from Bong Gabriel, market stalls and a host of environmentally friendly activities hosted by WWF Hong Kong.

Member discount applies for SAAHK members, children (5-12) and pensioners (60 and over). All guests receive a free 30-day WWF-Hong Kong membership and one beverage coupon for use at the festival.
Venue Information and Access
The event will take place at WWF Island House in Tai Po. It is a lovely colonial style building and declared monument with a large garden and lawn.
The venue is easily accessible by MTR (a 20 minute walk from Tai Po Market Station) or taxi (a 25 minute trip from HK Island / Kowloon).

We will be celebrating this day sustainably alongside WWF Hong Kong. There will be a variety of other activities on the day. These include market stalls, sea glass workshops, screenings of ‘A Plastic Ocean’, a coastline discovery eco-visit and Sea for Future activities including a VR experience.

*Please pre-purchase your gifts at the Panda Shop where you can choose from a great variety of great eco-friendly gifts for both children and adults. Gifts will be wrapped and distributed to your loved ones by Santa Claus on the day.
At delivery options, click on “I or my representative would like to collect the products from the WWF Central Visitor Center”. After purchase, please send an email to enquiries@saahk.org with the name of the person who will be receiving the gift so that Santa can be sure the right gift goes to the right person.
