Owner of of Coba Foods & Lifestyle, Alison Wright, shares this quick and easy curry pea salad recipe with us this month. This simple salad can be whipped up in minutes and is a delicious side dish for a braai.
Ingredients:
400 g Tinned peas
3- 4 T Low fat mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
Mild curry powder to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh coriander (optional garnish)
Method:
Preheat the tinned peas (do not boil). Drain the water and allow to cool. Mix all the ingredients together and you will have a delicious salad in minutes.
Note:
A good curry taste is required. Use mild curry powder as hot curry powder will make it very hot.
